[INNOVATIVE TITLE]

will showcase up to 9 original ideas that will kickstart the conversations on DATE.  While not all submitted ideas will be able to be showcased, each submission will be shared in some way. We’re looking for ideas that are new, interesting, thought-provoking, and engaging. No program promotion or organizational pitches, please.

FORMAT:

You have 2 minutes and 12 slides to share your idea.

While your 12 slides advance automatically, one every 10 seconds, you will verbally share your idea, without reading cards or notes, igniting enthusiasm both for your idea, and for the fresh thoughts it provokes in others.

Effective mind motivators will:

• Use the allotted time (exactly 2 minutes) to concisely convey their idea in an organized, well thought out presentation.
• Create 12 slides to support their talking points. Effective slides might include images, graphics, screenshots, or single words. Not bulleted text.

SUBMISSION:

Submit the following by April 1st to INNOVATIVETITLE@gmail.com in an email with the subject “INNOVATIVE IDEA: Full Name”

• What’s your idea? Using a bulleted list of talking points, an outline, or narrative summary, clearly define what you will say in the course of 2 minutes.  The 2 minutes is not approximate.  You have exactly 120 seconds.
• Your slide presentation, of 12 slides, programmed to advance automatically at 10 second intervals.  PowerPoint files are preferred.

Presenters will be contacted by April 15th confirming their

Join us for an evening inspired by TED talks,

PechaKucha, and Ignite presentations

Smart thinkers from our field and beyond will gather to hear ideas on innovation, education, and creativity. Everyone in attendance will be given the opportunity to not only hear the spotlighted ideas of the evening, but also discuss, reflect, and cultivate their own ideas.  The conversations will be captured in a variety of ways for post-event sharing.
